The Good Ones
After an intensive surf session with more or less successful waves or endless wipeouts, it’s almost a must to chat about the day with a drink or watch the waves for a while.
Here are a few ideas for cool drinks after a fantastic day in the water I collected over the years.
Alcohol is just optional in all drinks – they taste just as fantastic without it:

Coconut water and fresh mint with a green twist of Spirulina
Coconut Green Mojito
WHAT YOU NEED
· 150 ml coconut water (naturally hydrating)
· 1 teaspoon of spirulina powder (for a superfood kick)
· 30 ml white rum (optional)
· Fresh mint leaves
· 1 lime (juice)
· 1 teaspoon agave syrup or honey (optional for sweetness)
· Ice cubes & some decoration
HOW TO DO IT
· Muddle the lime juice, mint and agave syrup in a glass. Add the coconut water and spirulina, stir well. Top up with ice cubes and refine with rum. Refreshing and nutritious!

Turmeric and pineapple with and anti-inflammatory splash
Tropical Turmeric Punch
WHAT YOU NEED
· 150 ml fresh pineapple juice (full of vitamins)
· 30 ml orange liqueur or vodka (optional)
· 1 teaspoon of turmeric (detoxifying and anti-inflammatory)
· 1 teaspoon of lime juice
· Pinch of black pepper (enhances the effect of turmeric)
· Ice cubes & some decoration
HOW TO DO IT
· Mix all the ingredients together with ice in a shaker. Strain the drink into a glass and garnish with a slice of orange. A sunny cocktail with a health boost!

Aloe vera and cucumber for a perfect hydration on hot beach days

Matcha, Antioxidants and an energy boost
Matcha Margarita
